New Years Day Brunch
Happy New Year to everyone! Many churches were uncertain if they would have a meeting on New Years day because so many people are awake until the early morning hours on New Years Eve. Rather than just schedule something, we asked our members if they would like to have a later service starting at 11:00AM and then have a brunch. We were overwhelmed with the response! About 110 people came including kids and many people volunteered to help set up, serve and clean up. We had a catered hot food breakfast with eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage and bagels. This was at no charge to the people who attended. The wonderful food was provided by Bagel Hut on Rt 109 in Farmingdale. I would highly recommend their services.
